National Chess Camp is a partnership between National Music Camp and Chess Institute of Canada.                            

NMC/NCC is run by a non-profit, non-sectarian foundation and is located on a 120-acre site on the shores of Lake Couchiching, North of Orillia and 90 minutes from Toronto. For almost 50 years National Music camp has been providing young musicians with an enjoyable and  challenging music experience balanced with a wide range of recreational activities.

In the summer of 2007 we added a chess camp to the National Music Camp on a trial basis. It was such a wonderful fit with the music program and a resounding success that we are making it an addition to our cultural offerings for youth.
